Robot:
- We made the final edits to our required Robot Design Executive Summary, and looked over it one last time.
o Information about ordering of the runs was changed
o Re-formatted the pictures of all the attachments
o Replaced the pictures in which the attachment motor is bare, as the cover attachment is now permanently placed on the motor.
- We started to CAD our last attachment, specifically the Run 5 transition.
- Quickly combined the chair mission and medicine mission.
o Simply inserted a “Wait” block in which the program stops until the middle button is pressed again, after the chair mission.
o Saves time in terms of changing programs
- Since the hexaflexagons boards are constructed (as robot boards) we made the digital design of the robot board on Microsoft Publisher
o Separated into six different sections, three for each of the hexaflexagons
o Plan to make the actual board in a later meeting, after completion of all of the robot runs.
Research:
- Continued working on the solution, and got to finish the rough structure of the moving parts of the solution, specifically, the teeth of the solution
o One of our members finished cutting out the right shapes for the moving parts of the solution
o Also finished was the main wooden and Plexiglas frame of the solution model, in which the moving parts are to be encased.
