Robot:
- The CAD of our robot Tank was finished at this meeting
o The CAD was mainly the “shell” of robot, without much of the actual central bracing, as it would have been too difficult to do so
o Also added was the cover attachment, which is now permanently affixed to the attachment motor
- Since the team had been relatively busy the past few weeks, the engineering notebook had not been updated in a while
o Entries were written at this meeting, and the notebook was up to date by the end of the meeting
- The hexaflexagon boards for robot were worked on
o Members continued cutting out construction paper to fill the centers of each side of both boards
o By the end, five out of the six sides had been finished, including the border with a different color
- Since we had new data from Matching Motors, after regionals, we formatted the excel sheet to suit a PDF file for printing.
- All the CAD’s of everything were finished at this point, so:
o a member organized the different CAD’s into separate pages with both the CAD and a picture of the attachment
o they were put into a file to be printed later on.
Research:
- The frame for the research model has many layers, one of which has already been cut out, a member smoothened out the frame, and started the process of cutting out a frame as another layer to the research model.
- A new contact had responded, so the research specialist responded to the email and edited the solution to suit the suggestions.
