Math Moves U Day at Raytheon
On February 20th, our team represented FLL at Raytheon. We arrived at the E-1 building lobby in the morning. Proceeding to be escorted to the open grounds on which we would be presenting, we set up our demonstration area. We planned to present our team with three tables: one used to display this year’s FLL field to run our robot on, the second used to introduce students to our research project topic and solution, and the third for explaining our robot’s programming. Various students came to observe our demonstrations. We also met other noteworthy teams, and had a good time. To top off the great day, we proceeded with lunch to listen to an astronaut recount his work. We had lots of fun reaching out to others with the message of FLL and look forward to other outreach opportunities like this in the future.
